Alan Smith

Originally from Scotland, Alan began his maritime career in 1996 as an Engineering Cadet, laying the foundations for what has become nearly 30 years in the maritime industry.
After qualifying as a Chief Engineer, he gained extensive experience across both the commercial and superyacht industries, serving aboard a wide range of vessels before transitioning into shore-based management. Having worked with vessels up to 150 meters, Alan brings a practical and hands-on approach to his role as Technical Superintendent, supporting vessel operations, maintenance, refits, and technical projects.
Outside of work, Alan enjoys diving, cycling, and travelling whenever the opportunity arises.
